Pay Rate: Start; $14.00/hour ($13.50/hour base+$.50/hour bonus)
In 90 days; $14.50/hour ($14.00/hour base + $.50/hour bonus)
**PLUS**: Earn an additional $.50/hour paid in lump sum for all hours worked at end of Summer Bonus program if you meet attendance criteria.

JOB SUMMARY:
As a Line Packer for Carl Buddig & Company you will be responsible for preparing/packaging fresh and frozen meat products for shipment with a safety -minded attitude that maintains and enhances a safety culture for the benefit of the Company and its employees.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pack fresh and frozen meat products.
- Required to work in cold temperatures 40
- Must be able to stand for 8-9 hours per day.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends, if/when necessary.
- Ability to effectively follow work instructions.
- Assist in changeovers as needed.
- Ensure conformance to specifications.
- Able to read and understand written instructions.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
- Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
